Our Approach
At the Shefford Osteopathic Clinic, we take a holistic approach to healthcare. Yes we take full medical histories, and yes we will perform full orthopaedic diagnostics, but our treatment approach is always caring.
We work with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses their individual needs and goals. Our treatments are designed to not only relieve pain, but also to improve overall health and well-being. We offer a wide range of services, including osteopathy, sports massage, medical acupuncture, and rehabilitation exercises. Our goal is to help our patients achieve optimal health and wellness, so that they can live their best possible life.
Osteopathic Treatment
We use a variety of different techniques from muscle work to bone/joint work. Each treatment is tailored to the patients needs and requests. Yes we do manipulate and "crack" joints, but only if they are needed, and you feel comfortable with it.
Sport Massage
This a remedial massage, and is used to focus on areas that need treatment. Treatment, advice and exercise is all part of the service.
Medical Acupuncture / Dry Needling
We use this treatment to supplement our main therapeutic approaches, intergrating it into our Osteopathy or Sports massage.
Your Treatment
All treatments are hands on treatments. We diagnose your complaint and if appropriate, will administer a treatment. All treatments are dictated by the condition and therefore not time restricted - if your condition takes 20 mins or 40 mins to treat, we will make sure you are treated properly and fully. A rough guide is 30-40mins
