My Story

Melissa Thorpe – M.Ost – Associate Osteopath

Melissa has a Masters of Osteopathy with Distinction from the University College of Osteopathy, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Specialist Paediatric Osteopathic Practice (SPOP).  Her qualifications support her treating the whole family. She uses a predominantly structural approach but incorporates a range of techniques including cranial osteopathy.

Melissa has retrained as an osteopath following a 20 year career as procurement professional, the change in direction was due to her interest in medicine and healthcare but definitely her positive experiences of osteopathic treatment to manage her MSK (musculoskeletal) challenges.

​

Melissa is also a qualified BTEC Level 5 Diploma Soft Tissue Therapist, mental health first aider, emergency first aider and holds TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism.
