What to wear
Your practitioner has to be able to see the area of your body which is causing the problem and also other areas which may be related to your condition. Therefore you will normally be asked to undress down to your underwear.
Please wear appropriate underwear so that you will feel comfortable during the examination and any subsequent treatment. You may wish to wear shorts and a vest. Don't forget, you can always bring a friend or relation into the treatment room. If you are concerned about undressing, please discuss this with your practitioner.
We have both male and female osteopaths, so if you would prefer to be treated by an osteopath of the same gender as yourself, this isn't a problem. Just tell our friendly receptionist when you book your appointment.
