Karen Robinson

BSc (Hons) Ost.
Graduated from the European School of Osteopathy.

Karen has been in private practice since graduating in 1997, establishing Shefford Osteopathic Clinic in 2000.

She has been a clinic tutor at one of the osteopathic schools and currently lectures to international students in osteopathic technique, orthopaedic testing and differential diagnosis.

From 2006-2008 she was the President and Chairman of the British Osteopathic Association and remains a member. Karen is a member of the General Osteopathic Council.

Karen continues to update her skills and knowledge. In the past she has completed paediatric and cranial osteopathic courses. In 2006 she completed the foundation course in Medical Acupuncture adding to skills already gained in 2000. She is currently studying Shiatsu.

Over the years my techniques have become more refined and my understanding of the human from a spiritual, mental and physical aspect has widened as a result of personal experience and courses/books. This allows my treatments to encompass more than just assessing the area of pain. As a result some of the most rewarding treatments have been for those who have suffered pain for many years as a result of previous trauma, accidents, traumatic birth for mother or baby, and highly stressful jobs."
